I am having a plydate at me house on Monday and I want to make an easy cake for it. I have a few 6" rounds downstairs in the freezer, a 8" round, and a 9x13. There will only be 8 moms and 10 kids, so I don't need to make anything huge. Just wanted a cute design where I could maybe lay out some of the rounds or something, just to add to my portfolio. I was thinking of a snowman or a catepillar, but was looking for some other ideas...

I like that caterpillar idea! Very Baby Einstein.

Usually that is the first thing I think of... what have I been wanting to try... but I have two cakes due at the end of the week and I am making lunch for both the moms and the kids attending the playdate as well, so I really haven't thought about what I wanted to try...
