Hi, I have an idea and kind of a vision, but i need a little help just tweaking my idea.
Iwant to make one (2 if nessaccary) big cookie (must fit in his work mail box)
The Idea: Light bulb cookie, shaped or even square. Yellow, or White. Sugar cookie with icing ( the hard kind, like royal but not royal ) With the saying, "You light up my day!"
Problem: cant quite figure out how to execute this idea, one cookie as a light bulb and the second a heart or square with the words, or do i do one larger cookie say the size of a larger halmark, but not the size of a sheet of paper, and draw (decorate) a picture of a light bulb on it and have the words iced in the square cookie as well... I'm so lost, i dont really do cookies too much, i know its still Jan but i need some help fast so i can do a few test runs b/c i always panic and mess things up last minute... Please help!
Or if you have any other ideas fo B-day cookies, i dont want it to be too much or too expensive. I also liked the idea of a bumble bee and it says bee mine.
one last thing whhat should i wrap it in, i want it to look nice, if anyone can find pictures that would be a great help too!!!
thanks

You can do a large rectangular cookie and attach mini cookies to it with RI. Your "card" will have your message and the minis will be your "illustrations." You could make the bulb OR the filament inside the bulb heart shaped.

Here are some ideas:

You can package your cookie in cellophane and tie with a pretty ribbon. A candy box with a window would work, too. Check you local draft and cake supply stores. Some people have packaged favors by putting the cookie in a cello bag and stapling a piece of cardstock (with a printed message) to the top. Check the gallery. HTH!

Thought I do some leopard print and white with red hearts Speedos!

This cutter was originally made for the show Frasier. The food critic, Gil Chesterton, brought gingerbread men to the Christmas potluck and commented that he couldn't stop eating them. He then held up this cookie!!! Running joke was that he was closeted. Too funny!
