Ok obviously makeing a cake and my MMF (easy mmf with fluff) is tearing on me. I am thinking that I don't have enough sugar in it but I don't want to put more until I find out for sure. I haven't ever had this happen before but I don't work with fondant that much either.

HELP QUICKLY PLEASE

I'm just guessing, but if you made it with fluff, it's probably too sticky. I agree to add in some more powdered sugar and maybe work in a little crisco too.
Just a guess from a MMF beginner...

I only make the easy mmf and it will tear when its too sticky. Just start kneading a little ps sugar in at a time until its not sticky anymore. Mine tend to be crumby until you start really kneading it. You can use a bit of shortening but I like powdered sugar/corn starch mixture when rolling it out. I do coat it with shortening before I wrap it up.

I love working with it and it tastes so good.

Good Luck

MMF made with fluff is a lot softer than a batch made with regular marshmallows. Definitely add more PS to get a better consistancy. Just keep in mind it's just going to be softer by nature.
