I was asked to make a baby shower cake and incorporate a guatemala theme. I searched some photos, but I don't really know enough about it and it's like very very short notice. Cake was ordered today and is due on Thurs.
So I thought of maybe a baby sleeping in a wicker basket under palm trees covered in a guatemala colorful blanket. On the side of the cake I thought maybe some stuff from guatemala (pyramid ruin, flowers, peacock, sun)?? She mentioned donkey etc, but with the time, I don't think I have enough of it to pull off a ton of things.
Anyway, this is what I have so far, but I don't know. Does this sound like it would work?
Thank you for any advice you could offer.
My most favorite place in the world!
Your plan sounds good but skip the peacock and add a Quetzal it's the national bird and similar looking...

Maybe not the best pic but you get the idea...
The blanket is a great idea, use angular designs (think aztec-y) Good luck I want to see a pic when you're done!
