I was asked to make a baby shower cake and incorporate a guatemala theme. I searched some photos, but I don't really know enough about it and it's like very very short notice. Cake was ordered today and is due on Thurs. icon_confused.gif

So I thought of maybe a baby sleeping in a wicker basket under palm trees covered in a guatemala colorful blanket. On the side of the cake I thought maybe some stuff from guatemala (pyramid ruin, flowers, peacock, sun)?? She mentioned donkey etc, but with the time, I don't think I have enough of it to pull off a ton of things.

Anyway, this is what I have so far, but I don't know. Does this sound like it would work?

Thank you for any advice you could offer.

My most favorite place in the world! icon_lol.gif
Your plan sounds good but skip the peacock and add a Quetzal it's the national bird and similar looking...

Maybe not the best pic but you get the idea...
The blanket is a great idea, use angular designs (think aztec-y) Good luck I want to see a pic when you're done! thumbs_up.gif
