Cream Cheese Icing

I had to make a red velvet cake with the crusting cream cheese icing this past week.
Well I love the way it tastes and for me it smooths and pipes so much better.

So my question is can I use this on regular yellow cake or chocolate cake or would it taste bad?

Here is the cake I made. It was for a man and his son and the own the "rockin' M" ranch.

choc cake with cream cheese icing is one of my fav treats! it tastes awesome. you are not limited to just red velvet!

My son is wanting his birthday cake as a white cake with cream cheese icing. I am going to do it because I guess I didn't even second think that you couldn't use cream cheese icing with just anything. I have before and it was good!

This is one of the icings I get the most request for. I've used it on white, yellow, strawberry, banana, chocolate, etc.

My biggest request is for a chocolate cake with banana cream cheese buttercream. I just use banana flavoring instead of vanilla. Everyone thinks I have several recipes for icing and I really only have two. HAHA!
