I had to make a red velvet cake with the crusting cream cheese icing this past week.
Well I love the way it tastes and for me it smooths and pipes so much better.

So my question is can I use this on regular yellow cake or chocolate cake or would it taste bad?

Here is the cake I made. It was for a man and his son and the own the "rockin' M" ranch.

My son is wanting his birthday cake as a white cake with cream cheese icing. I am going to do it because I guess I didn't even second think that you couldn't use cream cheese icing with just anything. I have before and it was good!

This is one of the icings I get the most request for. I've used it on white, yellow, strawberry, banana, chocolate, etc.

My biggest request is for a chocolate cake with banana cream cheese buttercream. I just use banana flavoring instead of vanilla. Everyone thinks I have several recipes for icing and I really only have two. HAHA!
