I use a crusting cream cheese icing recipe and it's our favorite and I use it on every cake.
1 cup shortening
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 bag of C&H powdered sugar
How can I make this chocolate and it still be crusting? Would 4 squares of semi sweet chocolate melted and added work? I have never made chocolate icing.
you can try to add cocoa powder and chocolate syrup. start off with 1/2 cup of each and add to your taste. it should crust for you. good luck!
