There's a deli that wants me to make cupcakes for them but I have no idea how much to charge him per cupcake as this will be a weekly thing. I need help and ideas please. It's my first time doing this.

I assume the deli is going to be selling them? Are you going to be decorating them or just icing them? If you are just icing them, I would figure up all your costs and multiply by 2, since you are selling them wholesale.

what part of NY are you in? ( in my opinion, that makes a HUGE difference)

I live in Westchester County (Yonkers) & the deli is in Brooklyn so I'd have to also commute every other day to deliver them.

My first response was to factor that in as well, BUT..... are the deli patrons going to know these cc's are made by YOU?

or is the deli just going to display them sans YOUR name?

Cc's in delis and bagel stores have been popping up all over the island and I have never seen credit given to an outside source.

I was going to say it would be a great way for you to get your name out there, but the deli has to make a profit too.

You have to decide if what you want to charge is worth the time and effort to make, decorate and now commute on an every other day

GL and let me know how it turns out!!
