first time for this, hope i'm doing it right. but i need to make a germen chocolate cake but need ideals for a flavoring for the bc frosting.what flavors (bc frosting)goes with germen chocolate cake? want to put a FBCT on top. thank you for any help.

i just used a chocolate fudge bc with german chocolate-- everybody loved it!

Raspberry is always good with any chocolate. Or one time I used a peanut butter buttercream. Or as chicagoalex stated...chocolate fudge bc.

German chocolate cake is traditionally iced with a coconut-pecan frosting, not buttercream. Without the special frosting, it's just a light chocolate cake.
