Hey all

- I love buttery shortbread cookies! Do you know of a recipe that can be rolled and cut so I can use it to decorate?

Or is this a bad idea because they are so crumbly?

I appreciate your suggestions on this!

Since I'm allergic to eggs, I do this all the time. Here's the recipe I use:

I add a whole tsp of vanilla though.

I roll, cut out, stick in the freezer for 10 minutes, take out, remove cookies to pan and bake.

DELICIOUS!

I started a thread on decorating shortbread cookies and received a lot of great ideas. Here's the link: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-607959-.html

I also started a thread on shortbread cookie recipes which were good for cut-outs. Here's the link: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-607794-.html
