I have a tub of buttercream in an airtight container in the freezer that has been in there just over a month. Is it okay to use? How long does buttercream keep in the freezer?

Thanks!!!

Yes it is. Just let it thaw out on the counter and it will be ready to go.

I've discovered that I really like freezing buttercream in ziploc bags. I fill up the ziploc bag, squeeze all of the air out and my buttercream freezes flat and doesn't take up much room. Then it thaws out extremely quickly and the best part is not all of my tupperware is filled with icing.
