I need to know how to replicate a peice of antique french lace in the easiest possible way. Any ideas?

W/o seeing the lace it's difficult to advise you.
My 1st thought would be Sugar Veil.

wow that is really cool. All I knew about making lace was something like silicone putty(i have seen on the web) that makes a mold.
In what way does sugarveil differ ?
