I'm making a birthday cake for my boyfriend's brother. He doesn't like most cake but he really wants an angel food cake so I'm planning to do that with some whipped cream and strawberries. The only problem is that I don't have an angel food cake pan. Can I cook it in a regular pan or in my bunt pan (that's similar but doesn't have the straight sides)? Will I need to change anything in order to cook it in a different pan? Thanks for your help.

I know there is a way to make angel food cupcakes with a mix, and that you can bake an angel food cake in a loaf pan. The problem is that I can't remember how - times, temp, etc. I'll look around and in the meantime, maybe someone else can help you out. Sorry...

Yes, it's possible. icon_smile.gif
(Although an angel food cake pan will make cooling/removing SO much easier.)

Thank you. After reading through some of that information I think I'll just go buy an angel food cake pan. I don't have time to give it a second shot if it doesn't work out right the first time.
