Hi all,

I am in the process of taking my first cake decorating class and completely hooked! In reviewing the cakes that we will be making, we will be using the same tip with various colors. Are there specific Wilton tips that you can suggest that I purchase in multiples so that I'm not cleaning the same tip 4 times just to frost one cake? I'm sure that some are used way more than others.

Thanks for your help! I LOVE this site!!! icon_biggrin.gif

I have multiples of almost everything, but starting out, I'd get multiples of whatever the book says you'll be using in that class. I seem to have multiples of #3, #12, #16...and I think I bought all of those for class 1...You can really never have too many. It is so much easier than taking it off one bag/color and having to clean it and stick it on another one! icon_smile.gif

Best of luck!!

extras of any/all writing tips, star tips and rose petal tips are most used by me. I also have extra basket weave, grass and leaf tips.

Definitely your roses (104) and the circle tips (1-?), the star tip (16?) and the rose center (12?)
