So, obviously there is Christmas, V Day, Easter, etc..

I'm wondering if any of you do anything special for any weirder, lesser known ones? Ethic holidays? Silly days?

I'm just putting together a promotions calendar for this year now. LOL. Need to figure out what I want to do, and when. Looking forward to something for St Patty's Day!

Since I have my own business I call the shots. Thankfully it's out of my own home and not a store front.

I don't work the day before or on a birthday for my husband and children.

I don't work on the days my son has a day off from school (inservice, Chrismas & Easter break etc).

I also will not work the day before or of my wedding anniversary.

I don't announce it in publications but on my master calendar I have those days with a big red X through them. When consulting my master calendar for booking a date I have every order and every red X so I know what I can and can't do that day/week.

I was thinking more in terms of what days do you do special promotions for, etc.
