Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to use 2 differnt colors of fondant on a cake. (half sheet, top yelloe, sides red with lightning bolts).
If it is possible would someone please tell me how. I am in desperate need.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE ON CC
Yes you can... I'm in a bit of a hurry, and a rookie, but you can either layer and cut out your lightning bolts or just put layers on and carefully cut out which part is which.
Lord, that doesn't sound brilliant or helpful... I hope I gave you an idea
Yes you can. If I'm reading this right you want red on the sides of a sheet cake and yellow on top? If so roll out the red like a big band to wrap the cake sides then add the yellow on top.
Thank you both very much. HAPPY NEW YEAR
Ditto what sari66 said.
Thanks. But I have one more question. Can you use the spray color mist on fondant or will it stay to wet. I wanted to use a stencil for the sides but don't have a air brush machine.
You can, just go light with it!
