I'm pretty new to the cake business and I was wondering what to charge for a Giant Cupcake cake. I usually just do cakes for family and friends but I was curious to see what other people charge for this cake. It's a white cake decorated in buttercream w/ sprinkles...not to fancy. Thanks for your help.

Do you have a picture? How many servings? What size pans?

Is a 3-D carved cake or baked in a cupcake pan?
For 3-D cakes my price per serving starts at $4.00 per serving, minimum 25 servings with a $25 base fee so the starting price would be $125.00, the price goes up depending on design, details and flavors and filling.
If it is not a carved cake the price starts at $3.50 per serving, 25 serving minimum, with additional cost for detail, design and flavors and fillings.

I made the giant cupcake today just to see what it was going to look like. I used the giant cupcake pan from Wilton. I'm not even sure how many people it serves, its a nice size cake.

i made one once for a birthday . Very simple buttercream iced, with a small. fondant bumble bee on top . This cake served 10-12 and I believe I charged 35 or 40 dollars for it.

Hope that helps
