I have a baby shower cake due on Saturday and want to do a buttercream cake with fondant polka dots and a ribbon and bow that is placed center of the cake.

See example below:

What do I used to glue the bow and ribbon tail onto the cake?

TIA.

Thanks sugarshack!

I am making the bow ivory color. Will white chocolate work? Like the white chocolate chips you can buy from the store?

How long do you hold the bow in place before the chocolate dries?

Yes, your wc chips will work just fine. It shouldn't take more than a few seconds depending on how thick you have made the bow (how heavy).
