I am looking for a chocolate cake recipe that is suitable for carving that is still moist. Anyone have a recipe that is dependable?

Do you have the Cake Mix Doctor book? If you do, go to the back where there is a recipe for Basic Yellow Pound Cake. That's what I used in my monkey cake, diaper bag cake, and in my stuck bear cake (the step-by-step for the monkey and the diaper bag are on my CakedAlaska website, as well as a picture of the bear). EXCEPT where the recipe says to use a yellow cake mix, I use a Duncan Hines dark chocolate fudge cake mix. I still use vanilla pudding mix, though.
