My DH sent me this link. I am a bit curious as to how much of these are really cake and how much is just sugar art. I personally think the majority of it is really ugly, but that's my opinion.

Some of these cakes are very interesting. I enjoy seeing the different styles.

Holy smokes......those are incredible.....a few ugly ones and some seem to defy gravity.

someone sent me this guys cakes as a PowerPoint presentation. It has some not on this link. I guess they're doing pretty well in the oil business huh?

Wow.... some cakes were 'ok......'; others had me asking, 'how'd they do that?' and most of them were so huge I wondered how many people were at the wedding / parties to eat the cakes!!

Ugly or not, I don't think I could make any of those. They are pretty amazing!

I think they are amazing and in a league of their own really. Expect that they would bake those things in a huge commercial hotel kitchen in order to avoid having to start baking 6 months in advance Assuming it's all cake and no dummies...

Either way, you have to hand it to the guy.

yeah i have seen this guys stuff beforere amazing ones than those on the link!! he is the personal pastry chef of the kuwait royal family (which is massive) and those are all all for the royal weddings each outdoing the next!! i have seen a few that would be two people high!!!

wow...some of those were really interesting....and enormous!!! I' sure they cost a pretty penny.
