I've been making cupcake bites to pleased crowds for some time now and decided to vary my recipe a bit to include yummy liquors. So, today I make a box mix chocolate cake and used Baileys reg. and Baileys caramel to bind the cake into balls and OMG!

They turned out SO YUMMY! But that's only if you like cake balls. icon_biggrin.gif

Just wanted to share.

My cake balls almost always have liquor in them. They taste so much better that way icon_lol.gif . I don't drink, but if you saw my house you would swear I had a problem. I have about 20 different kinds of liquor in my house at all times for cooking and baking.
So far my favorite alcohol cake ball is chocolate cake with toasted coconut and some strong coconut rum.

I used vanilla rum (it was a cheap bottle of rum I won as a prize at a party) with white cake and they were the best cake balls ever! Great way to use low grade liquor! I also have some rum with ginger in it - I'm wondering if it would be good with spice cake.
