I love SMBC. I have tried twice to make it chocolate and can't get a very good color. It tastes good, but it is just a light tan. I have used the Well Dress Cake recipe, the small size and put in about 6 oz of melted chocolate.
Does anyone have any good ideas for making it a more "chocolatey" color?
Everytime I make chocolate BC, either Toba Garrett's or IMBC, I add double the chocolate that the recipe calls for. If you want a darker color beyond that, you might try just adding brown food color.
