Please forgive me if this questions has already been answered somewhere else in the forum..... How far in advanced can I make the gum paste roses for my first wedding cake for February? What is the best way to store them?

You can make them as far in advance as you would like to. Gumpaste flowers keep very well. Just protect them from sunlight and UV light (sometimes colors fade due to UV light exposure), dust, excessive humidity, and accidental bumps. icon_smile.gif I store mine stuck in styrofoam in large cardboard boxes on high shelves in my cake storage room.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I guess I can go ahead and get started then.
