Just wondering if there's anyone out there thats done a course at Planet Cake? I am trying to decide which course to do - the 'novelty' or 'basic' series. They both look great, but want to get the most value for money as these courses are really expensive!
After a couple of years of wanting to do one I finally did the basic 101 last october and it was worth every cent! They give you so much information and will happily answer questions.I think that they like everyone to start at 1 first to learn the way they do it with the ganache and the very thin icing. I m hoping to follow on to basic 102 this year

I have asked for this course as my birthday present. They are running courses in Melbourne in March but I dont really want to wait until then so I am going to fly up in Jan I think.
I would really like to cover torting and covering with buttercream. Is this included?
i don't think they use buttercream at planet cake - just becaue it's too humid for the cakes to last well.
