A client was asking me for marble buttercream. Ive never heard of that, is there such a thing? If so, whats the recipe? Here's her exact words: "I wanted the cake to be marble but i see you only have regular marble and not one of the buttercream flavors."

So Im confused, is she thinking of something else? I had asked her what kind of filling she wanted in the cake, & that was her response. She had already asked for the cake to be marble & I said that was fine, I just needed to know the filling she wanted? Does anyone know what she's talking about? Thanks all icon_smile.gif

Never heard of this...I would ask for clarification, but I'm assuming she is either asking for marbled fondant (she wants that look?) with buttercream filling? Or marbled cake with buttercream icing.... icon_confused.gif
Good luck.

Maybe she wanted a marble cake but not white and chocolate. Sometimes they do strawberry marbled with choc. or strawberry marbled with white. You could marble any combinations.
I never heard the other flavors referred to as buttercream flavors though.
