Merry Christmas, everyone!

As a little Christmas gift to my extended CC family, I've posted a new step-by-step tutorial on how to make a diaper bag cake. The tutorial is here:

Have a lovely holiday!!

P.S. - the bottle, truck and rabbit are real toys, not cake. The tutorial is for the diaper bag part.

Thanks!
Deanna

Thanks so much!

I realize now that it was your photo (of the unfinished bag) and description that I recently saved from a thread about making zippers. I thought yours was the best I'd seen, and wanted to make mine the exact same way when the time came.

I have just found this tutorial, which I think is super!
Been having a problem getting onto CC website, get maintenance page everytime.

So, thank you Deanna for your tutorial, somewhere, somehow, we will get to making one of these, which I have always wanted to attempt.

Have a great 2009!!

Thanks for giving Frankyola the link, FlourPots! I used a silicone molding compound to mold a heavy jacket zipper and the zipper pull. You can get the silicone here: http://www.culinart.net/silicone.html
It's really great stuff, and I've molded a lot of things with it and been very happy with the finished molds.

HTH,
Deanna
