when molding chololate for clristmas ball, do you oil the mold? Thanks

Sorry you haven't received a response sooner; hope this isn't too late. I have only molded a few things but it is my understanding that you do not need to oil the mold. When the chocolate solidifies it just pops out of the plastic (or silicone) mold. Helps to chill it briefly (not too much) to get the chocolate nice and hard.

Thank you both. Yes, they did justy pop out, and they were a big hit today..I gave them as gifts, and they loved them.
