I saw a topic on here for a "gift" bow not a loop bow but I can't seem to locate it now. If anyone has these directions or the link that I am refering to I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Here's a tutorial on bows. http://cakecentral.com/article103-How-To-Make-a-Gumpaste-Bow.html
Thanks but that wasn't the bow I saw. It looked just like a bow that you would purchase from the store to put to put on your Christmas Gifts.
Thanks but no. The one I saw which was last year had points like the bows you would buy in the store.
I appreciate the help!
Yes, Melissa is famous for the package bows. I have a couple of her package bow molds and they're great fun to use. I'm experimenting with one idea for a Valentines cake. I'll keep you posted!
Nope, but thanks! The beer bottle instructions on that page doesn't work either and they both link to theredhotkitchen.com. That site appears to be revamping. Maybe it'll come up again in a day or two.
Hi CakeMakar: I do have the tutorial but since it is a word document (.doc) I can post it just send me you e-mail and I will send it to you.
It is the same tutorial from decoratethecake.com
Thanks for those links all4cake -- where did you find the ICES newsletter online?? I get the paper version.
Heyall -- and Happy New Year..-- I'm moving The Red Hot Kitchen to a new server -- the links to the instructions should be working this afternoon -- I'll post once I have tested it out and they are back up
Melissa
Not sure why I didn't think of this when I was posting before
you can access the directions at
www.thesnapshotcompany.com --- this was my first site ever -- and I've just redirected The Red Hot Kitchen to it..
um...I don't know. I just did a search for gumpaste package bow directions and it came up.
The best bow tutorial is definitely www.decoratethecake.com. I'm sure someone gave you the link already..but you just go and click on the molds. And then click on the instructions. It tells you how to make it with the mold and without as well. So that's really cool.
I'm still wondering if the package bow is what the OP wanted. I haven't heard from her.
