Okay, I'm making some shortbread type cookies. Can you cut that butter and flour together in the KA with the paddle? (I don't have a food processer) Just trying to save my hands, I have a few batches to do.
TIA

Hmm never tried it with the KA, but i have done it in the food processor..pulsing it every few seconds until the butter was about the size of peas. You could also do it with two forks, or a pastry cutter. HTH

If you are real real careful and watch it closely.

Y'know take all precautions, like real cold butter. Err on the side of under processed then maybe be ready to finish the last bit by hand.

Should be fine.

The whip would be even better.

Whip, whisk, same same. That's what I meant. The wirey deal that comes with the average KA. The wirely deal will cut more than a paddle that will smush more kwim.
