I have to make a Caramel Vanilla Cake for a cx....I was thinking:
Vanilla sponge with buttescotch and choclate chips, with a caramel filling. Frosted with a vanilla bc mixed in dulche de leche or caramel...would it work? Any other ideas?

Sure sounds good to me! That's about what I was going to suggest. Just a vanilla cake w/butterscotch or caramel ice cream sauce swired in and choc chips added. When you get it done be sure to send me 1/2 the cake!!!

kakeladi: Thanks, did just that..turned out pretty good I think, the cx just left with it. Travelling in a rv across the states sounds wonderful..we were planning to travel cross county early summer...lets see how things pan out...any specific route you takin'? Have fun!!
