I am attempting to make a 3D Eeyore with the 3D Bear Pan. I have a few questions, any help would be appreciated.
1. Do you like buttercream or fondant better when covering it.
2. How do you make the nose for eeyore. How do you attach it.
3. What colors do you use to get Eeyore's coloring.
Those are the questions I have right now. Hopefully they are the only ones. Thanks for helping me!
Linda

Hi there,
I just thought I'd quickly reply to your post. I did a 3d eeyore cake for my daughter's birthday last year. I'd post the pictures up here for you, but my computer crashed a few months ago and I lost everything. I haven't yet had a chance to go through all of my hard copy pictures and get everything scanned yet.
As for colours for the eeyore, I used wilton colours and these are the colours I used.
For his body I used cornflower blue, but you could also use Delphinium blue. I just find that the cornflower blue had a little more grey in it.
For the snout I used ivory, for the hair black.
For the pink of his ears and the bow on his tail I used Rose Icing colour.
For his belly and the inside colour on his legs I used violet.
I hope this helps.
Melissa
Thank You both for the great tips...I need to have this cake done for March 5th, then I have to do a 3d pig for the 10th. So I will post pics as soon as I have em. Thanks again!
