HI. I'm looking for an oreo filling recipe that's more than just buttercream w/ oreos mixed in. I've looked in the recipe section here and on ladycakes - anyone have a good one to share? THanks in advance.

Here's a mousse filling from Marida:

1pint heavy whipping cream
1 small package of Cookies N Cream Jello pudding

Whip until it is light and fluffy. I whip the cream for a few minutes to get it started before I add in the dry pudding mix. Tastes fab!

I got the recipe for this of the site. It is the almost twinkie filling. I put Oreos in this sucker and MAN!!!!! Was mighty tasty!

2 teaspoons very hot water
rounded 1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups marshmallow creme (1 7-ounce jar)
1/2 cup shortening
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

To make the filling, combine the salt with the hot water in a small bowl and stir until salt is dissolved. Let this mixture cool. Combine the marshmallow creme, shortening, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a medium bowl and mix well with an electric mixer on high speed until fluffy. Add the salt solution to the filling mixture and combine. (NOTE: I added about 8 crushed Oreos to the filling)

Cookies and Cream
whimsical bakehouse cookbook

-in the bowl of an electric mixer at high speed, whip until stiff:
2 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

-gently fold in by hand:
20 chocolate sandwich cookies/Oreos, crushed into medium pieces (i basically crushed each oreo into quarters).
Yield 6 cups.

I put Oreos in the food processor until pea sized and then put in a bowl and mix with Hershey's chocolate syrup until I get a sticky/gooey consistency and put that in the middle of the cake. I LOVE IT! Make extra so you can eat it with a spoon.
