2008 Christmas Cake-Red velvet cake cov. in BC w/ MMF top, RI sugar cone xmas tree w/ fondant accents. I know I need alot more practice, for instance, how do I keep that dent in the middle from happening? and I know with the candy cane rope I need to do it a lil smaller. Oh i could do alot more different but I'm very happy with my first one. Please let me know what you all think? good and bad.

Merry Christmas!

I think your cake is great!!! I'm not sure about the dent. That has never happened to me. Here is a bump. Great job on your first fondant cake.

you did a fantastic job! Fondant can be tricky getting it smooth if you are a first timer. You should be very proud of yourself icon_smile.gif the cake looks fantastic!

Thank you all. The cake went over real well at the party. A newly engaged couple were there and asked me if I could do their wedding cake!!! I am so excited! They are getting married in June 2009 so I have time to plan. I gave them address so they could see all the beautiful cakes on here.

Merry Christmas everyone!
