I made a pecan filling for a small wedding cake for tomorrow. It is made with 4 egg yokes and 1 1/2 cups half & half. It was brought to a boil and boiled for 1 minute. Would it be OK to sit out if I filled it tonight and left it out? It will be eaten tomorrow around 1:00. I'm never sure what needs to be refrigerated & what doesn't. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I am not sure at all, but I would refridgerate it since it has Half&half and egg yolks.

Yes, it has a *total* of only 4 hr that it should be left out....& that includes the time you are decorating it.
