It looks wonderful. I'm sure the bride and groom just loved it.
On a side note...how many dang times have you had to deal with pig-headed dutch chef now? I know that your cakes are different from the traditional ones served there but geesh....do these chefs who argue with you live under rocks. Your cakes are amazing they should be trying to figure out how to replicate them.

I'd say that if thats what the B&G wanted re-created you've done them and yourself proud.

As for the Wedding Planner, perhaps he/she doesn't like the B&G's taste, some of them wouldn't be impressed with a Castle Cake. I'd put the attitude it down to the planners snobbery more than your cake.

It looks fabulous!
