I'm in Orlando FL and a friend of mine told me about a new supermarket store near our house.
It's Aldi, a Germany chain who's opening many branches here in the USA. They have unbeatable prices and excellent quality. icon_smile.gif

Gallon milk.............$ 2.79
Cream Cheese........$ 0.99 (delicious)
Large eggs..............$ 1.19
Sweetened condensed milk.........$ 0.99
Salmon...................$ 3.49 lb (frozen and very good)
Sugar 5lb................$ 1.90
Crushed pineapple...$ 0.89

we had a couple in IL when i lived there. that was one of the sad things about moving to UT, no aldi icon_sad.gif they are incredible. the prices are so low. part of what makes them low is that you pay .25 for your cart, and get it back when you return it. they save money on employees gathering carts, it also avoids carts hitting cars. they also don't bag your groceries, you have to do it yourself, but they don't pay people to bag, oh! and you have to purchase your bags. anyways, i think it is a fantastic concept and am eagerly waiting for one to come out west!
