I love using fresh Strawberries to fill my cakes with the glaze but since strawberries are not in season and hard to find at a reasonable price, Can someone tell me how to use frozen strawberries. Can I mix them with the glaze or will they be too mushy? Thanks.
I don't know how to use them with glaze but I have used them as filling on top of whipped cream. I just defrosted them in a collander to drain all the liquid and pat them dry with paper towels, they holded their shape great and tasted as fresh.
