Fondant Bow??

I tryed to make my first bow with fondant but didnt have great success can anyone please explain how they do it ?

check out videos on youtube. I believe tonedna1 has a lot of great videos there and are extremely informative.

tutorials are also on c/c under articles.. one for the loopy bow topper... i think one for a package bow... also on cakeboss.com....loopy bow.hth

i don´t know what type of bow did you try to make,but here is a link on how to make a loop bow




I personally prefer to do them with gumpaste thumbs_up.gif

the bow that i am talking about on this site...it is not anine2"video.. it is make from fondant or fondant and gumpaste... or just gumpaste... you make the loops ..let them dry.... i put them together with royal icing on a round disk that i make from gumpaste or fondant and gumpaste mix... let the disk dry really good.... the recepient can then keep this bow if they want to... hth also make some tails to put in between the loops..

I use melted candy melts as the glue for the "loopy"bows - works perfectly!
