I melt the candy melts and add the karo light syrup (about 1 cup to a bag). Let it sit overnight and it will get kinda hard, just knead small amounts at a time and it will be ready to work with.
To melt choco/candy melts just put them in a MicroWave safe dish & warm in a MW oven. Do it slow - like 30 seconds at 1st; stir, another 20 seconds; stir and if needed another 10 seconds all on high power.
If you don't have a MW you can put them in a pan over HOT water until they melt. Just be super sure youdon't get any water or steam in it.
You need some kind of form to pour the melted candy into so it can harden. This can be foil, cookie cutter, plastic or most anything else that is bigger (or the same size) at the top then the bottom. If the bottom is larger than the top the choco won't come out.
