Got the new bowl-scraping beater blade today at my local Kitchen Collection store for $25 - cheaper than Amazon, and no shipping !

So far I've used it for cakes, frosting, cookies, and brownies. I was even thinking about using it for mashed potatoes

I wondered if they worked well.... might have to ask Santa for one
