Help! I'm in the middle of making Christmas mice. The melted chocolate to dip the cherries in seemed a lttle thick so I added a little heavy cream now the melted chocolate is one big glob...can I save it?!
did it crystalize,(seized), if it didn't try adding more heavy cream to it.
it seized I added a little corn syrup, I think that helped. But now maybe it won't harden.
It likely was a little thick because it was too hot. If it happens again, just try taking it off the heat. You can sit the bowl on a towel for a few minutes and stir it and it will cool down. If you let it stay on the heat it will burn.
