Hello,
I wasn't going to post my cookies here since they are in the gallery, but I really wanted to share this story. These were made for a woman my husband works with who is always confusing Gene Simmons with Richard Simmons (I know... hard to believe). icon_eek.gif So my husband and another co-worker are always playfully teasing her, putting their pictures in unexpected place, just to make her smile.

Recently she said: "That Richard Simmons and his long tongue!!!"
He's giving these to her tomorrow at a staff meeting and I wish I could see her reaction... She is a really nice person. She's also an Elvis fan so that cookie was also for her.

Thanks for looking ~ and for indulging me in sharing this story.

Thanks icon_smile.gif

When she arrived at the staff meeting today, she sat down and there they were starring her in the face... my husband said she couldn't stop laughing, tears were rolling down her face so she had to turn them over. Well, her laughter is contagious and the staff meeting had a late start.

This was SO worth it!!

I love Richard Simmons. He's so self-deprecating and yet so gracious.

Great job on the cookies!!

I have a quirky sense of humor, so I was wondering if anyone else would find this as funny as me... it's absurd and, to me, that's what makes it so funny. icon_rolleyes.gif

Great cookies .... fabulous story!!! Luv it when there's a story to go with the baked item! Especially a good one like this! icon_lol.gif

On the topic of confusing two different people:
Hubby was talking to the kids about Karl Marx ... a history lesson thing. I walked in about the middle of the story and asked "is he the one with the big mustache?" Hubby started laughing and said, "oh yeah, how can I forget .... Harpo, Chico, Groucho and KARL!" oops! icon_redface.gif
