What Is Your Fav Petit Four Flavor Combo?

I'm planning on making WASC (I've been dying to try that recipe) but I'm not sure about what kind of frosting or coating to use. I've seen some with chocolate, some with poured fondant, others with ganache! What would you recommend for petit fours? Is there something that tastes the best, easiest to use....? Do you have a favorite recipe you use?
