I have seen several pics in the gallery of ladybugs with 3d heads but no1 says how they made the heads. Do you use a cupcake? or do I just use some scrape cake to form the head?

I don't want to do the "painted on" head where you just ice the front part of the dome black, I want a separate head that is 3d.

I have to make this cake for saturday, so I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you everyone.

You can use a cupcake, a mini cupcake, a marshmallow, no-bake cookie dough, or even scraps to form it. It all depends on if it looks the right size head to you.

No bake cookie dough ... hmmm icon_confused.gif ... never thought about that. icon_rolleyes.gif Thank you for the suggestions. I originally thought about a cupcake, but then I wasn't sure. I need to stop second guessing myself. icon_razz.gif
