I have a baby shower cake to do in a couple of weeks. It is going to be stipes and dots. The dots is not a problem.

What is the best technique to make sure your fondant stripes are all cut equally? I have read about the pasta cutter, but I don't have one of those.

Thanks for your help thumbs_up.gif

I bought a strip cutter from Global sugar art, and that works pretty good. thats for thick strips and bows. I just bought a pasta roller at Ross last week. If you have one in your area, maybe check, its good quality and it was only 18$!

Can you find the ribbon strip cutter at Wal-Mart or Michaels?

my fondant / ribbon cutter is from cakesbysam .com. She has a neat site and is a great decorator too.

I seen that one at cakesam, but I'm afaid I won't have it in time for my cake. I looked on the web and seen that wilton makes one, so I hope to pick one up at Michaels 50% off.
But, I plan to order that one or put it on my Santa list icon_lol.gif
