Help! I am going to do a cake (in 3 weeks) for a friend who is turning 50.......he rides a Harley and his wife wants me to do the Harley emblem somewhere on the cake............but instead of the HD black/orange, she wants black and chrome...............what would be the best thing to use to acheive the chrome color? I would be using it on the HD emblem, and maybe some other accents on the fondant.....
I have used silver luster dust, but thought maybe there might be something else that would give the 'chrome' effect???????
Thanks for your help!!!!

Susan

NuSilver mixed with clear alcohol (everclear, vanilla) to make a paint.

NuSilver with Vodka or other alcohol. If you paint it on a black background it makes it look like metal however it isn't really shiny. Try it on a piece of black MMF and see how you like it. I have also mixed NuSilver and black gel for a metal look.
