Hi, Every time I make gum paste flowers (wilton's ready to use GP) the colors fade so readily in the sunlight. In a matter of minutes! I have used wilton colors and americolors and neither seems superior to the other. Does anyone have a way to prevent the colors in GumPaste from fading? I would appreciate your help.

Do not keep them in direct sunlight!

I brush my gumpaste flowers with petal dust and steam them to set. Granted they aren't sitting in the sun, but I have some that are 2 1/2 years old from my daughter's wedding and they still look great.
