Do the make the icing tint beige? If not, would you start with a little dab of brown?

tan, beige, off white, ivory, champagne, fleshtone ..... it's all the same to me.

I use the "Fleshtone" coloring sometimes ... adjusting the quantity to the shade I'm looking for (not that there's much difference).

For about half of these colors, I just use brown vanilla.
