my dad brought me a delicious desert he bought at an auction today. They are round like cookies, look a little like peanut brittle, are very soft and chewy, they have peanut butter, corn flakes and..... I don't know what else but they are sooo good and we want more! My dad ate most of them and left me 4 with 4 kids. (I hid them and won't share) IF you know what these are PLEASE help me out. TIA

I've no idea what they are, but they sound so yummy! Here's a bump!

They sound like a treat my husband's aunt makes. Here's her recipe:

Special K Treats

1 cup sugar
1 cup light Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. peanut butter
5 cups Special K cereal

Spray 3 quart saucepan with Pam. Add sugar and syrup. Stir over medium heat until mixture boils for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and peanut butter until mixed. Stir in Special K until mixed completely. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper. Cool. Store in airtight container.

Oh thank you. I am going to have to give it a try. I will eat my last 2 this morning and then make your recipe!

We called them haystacks, and used corn flakes instead of Special K!
