I have seen many of you recommend salter scales, but I am wondering which one of these you might like. Or do you have another suggestion?

I use a digital postal scale and love it. I'm sure either one of the scales you have pictured would work fine.

make sure you get one with a tare feature, where you can put your mixing bowl on it and then zero it out. also its handy to have one that weighs, lbs, oz, grams kilos etc.

I love my Salter too, but it's one that is mounted on the wall. You flip down the base when you need to weigh something. It is so handy, I use it almost everyday.

I personally am a big fan of Soehlne scales. For years I used this one Soehlne Future Scale but then recently upgraded to a newer model, this one Soehnle Triple Digital Food Scale.

Both are amazing scales, have an 11 pound capacity, switch between grams/kilograms and ounces/pounds, and of course have a tare function. I use mine nearly every day.
