Any suggestions on how to make icing a denim color?

Wilton's "Cornflower Blue" and "Delphinium Blue" gels + a tiny touch of black give you some great denim shades, both pale and darker...depending on what you're aiming for.

I just did a shower last month with "denim" as the theme colours. These cookies were done using those food colouring shades...

i think it might be cool if you mix the light and dark.. but not all the way to give it kinda a thread look? then smooth it with a "normal" (not viva) towel for texture?

might look cool... might look REALLY bad.. lol.

My sisters bday is August 10th.... icing dam leos..
